This statement is made pursuant to s.54 of the Modern Slavery Act 2015 and sets out the steps that Amicus has taken and continues to take to ensure there is no slavery or human trafficking within our business or our supply chains.
We are committed to preventing slavery and human trafficking in our corporate activities and to protecting people from slavery and human trafficking.
We operate a number of internal policies to ensure that we are conducting business in an ethical and transparent manner.
Amicus has reviewed its supply chains and procurement processes, conducting a risk assessment of the sectors and geographical locations in which its suppliers operate. Based on our review we are confident that the risk of modern slavery within Amicus and our suppliers is very low.
We are committed to continuing to develop our understanding of the issues and mitigating the risks involved in modern slavery. We will continue to review our policies, processes and controls, and with a growing number of suppliers we will improve the mapping of our supply chain to identify areas of risk.
This statement has been approved by our Board of Directors and will be reviewed annually.
